DALILA GALEANO -sings- The Great Jazz Voices
The concert presents a repertoire of the most emblematic voices in the history of jazz. Dalila Galeano, upon her return from New York, performs a selection of standards immortalized by artists such as Billie Holiday, Carmen McRae, Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, and Frank Sinatra. Each of them, with their own unique vocal style, shaped the development of jazz and left a legacy that continues to this day. Accompanied by some of the most prominent musicians on the local scene—Tomás Martínez (alto saxophone), Ramiro Penovi (guitar), Jerónimo Carmona (double bass), and Teo Pérez (drums)—the group pays tribute to the great voices of jazz.
A night to celebrate the history of jazz and its memorable melodies.
