JAZZ CLUB - JUAN SALINAS

TABLES & TICKETS🎟️ Juan Salinas. Self-taught musician. Born in Buenos Aires in 1999. Since he was very young (6 years old) he has been on stage as part of his father Luis Salinas' band, first on percussion and, from the age of 12, as a regular guitarist and bassist. Since 2012 he has participated in multiple national and international tours, including Spain, France, Italy, Germany, the United States, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, among others. He has shared the stage with great national and international artists, such as Tomito, Alejandro Sanz, Scott Henderson, Lito Vitale, Dante Spinetta, Alex Acuña, Rubén Rada, among others.

In 2016, he recorded his first album, Entre 20 Aguas, with his father, in a tribute to Paco de Lucia. This album featured musicians such as Chick Corea, Chucho Valdés, Alejandro Sanz, and others. He also participated in the film LA GUITARRA VUELA (The Guitar Fly) (2015/2016), a tribute to maestro Paco de Lucia. In 2019, at the age of 18, he released his first double CD, "Y la historia continua," receiving rave reviews from the press and musicians alike. On this album, Juan demonstrates his versatility in a variety of genres: jazz, blues, rock, Latin, funky, and more. His version of Alfonsina at the 2023 Cosquín Festival generated great repercussions, as well as his version of Mi Persona favorita, alongside Lito Vitale and his father Luis, a recognition from Alejandro Sanz himself, who, on his last tour of Argentina in 2023, invited him to participate in his show. Owner of a unique style, Juan is focused on his solo career, in addition to actively participating in shows with his father. He is currently finishing the recording of the songs for his second CD, mostly his own songs, which will be completed in the coming months.
