Singer Rosarina Nieves Rosell will perform in Buenos Aires with her project Songbook Brasil.

The proposal explores the work of Brazilian popular music icons such as Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Dorival Caymmi, Carlos Lyra, and Roberto Menescal, among others.

Nieves Rosell was born in Rosario and is a singer and songwriter. She currently divides her time between Argentina and Brazil, working on cruise ships, concerts, and recordings. She learned her craft at a young age in her hometown, performing with prominent local musicians in rock, pop, and Argentine music.

During his stay in Brazil, he developed his signature works Bocado de Paz and Sereia (produced by Daniel Pellegrinet), which combine Brazilian rhythms, jazz, and pop, with lyrics in Spanish and Portuguese.

In 2023, she released the single Cassia (co-written with Argentine poet and musician Adrián Abonizio), recorded in São Paulo and produced by Lisandro Massa, with Lury Batista on double bass and Carlos Bala on drums.

In 2024 he released the album Boleros, co-produced and arranged by Daniel Maza, with Leonardo Amuedo as a special guest and an outstanding group of musicians.

Nieves is currently in Argentina presenting her show Songbook Brasil, a journey through bossa nova and jazz.
